Unitemp won this award in the competition announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, in which 32 companies and farmers competed. At the award ceremony, Deputy Minister Svetlana Boyanova said that the choice was difficult, as all the projects under the Rural Development Program were very good. The Unitemp company, however, stood out as the sole leader in the “Processor” category with the project “Construction of a slaughterhouse and slaughterhouse Unitemp”.

The criteria on which the participants in the competition competed were the appropriateness of the project, its impact on nature, the way of life and the economy of the region, the application of an innovative approach, increasing the quality of life of the people, the amount of funds used and the overall change in the appearance of the population place.
